Producer Responsibility

Welcome to EHS's home page for Producer Responsibility. Here you will find details of information relating to those products, which are or will be subject to producer responsibility regulations.

Producer Responsibility is increasingly used throughout the world as a means of addressing environmental impacts of certain products. 'Producer Responsibility' is an example of the extended version of the Polluter Pays Principle as it applies to waste and resource management.

The Producer Responsibility Unit was established to implement the legislation covering packaging, end-of-life vehicles ( ELV s) and waste electrical and electronic equipment ( WEEE ). By clicking on any of the highlighted links you will be taken to the relevant area of the website or document.
